Fight Tooth Ache

My friend was complaining about her severe tooth ache on Saturday. There are some simple tips that can come handy to deal with the pain.

Please note: These tips relieve pain temporarily. Please consult a dentist for a permanent cure.

- If you are suffering from cavity, apply some toothpaste to the affected tooth.
- Applying Clove oil or keeping a clove between your teeth can also help.
- If the pain is from a wisdom tooth, gently rinse your mouth with warm salt water.

P.S.: Rubbing salt on your gums and teeth helps maintain your oral health.

Saute with Salt

I am a vegetarian. So, my cooking involves only vegetables.

When sauteing chopped onion or any other vegetable, add a small amount of salt. This will help cook the chopped onion or an other vegetable faster.

I am not sure if this can be applied to cooking meat.

Lime Juice Beats Salt

Well, I should actually be cooking now. But I was reminded of this wonderful tip - Lime juice beats Salt!

I am a budding cook and I tend to make mistakes, in fact a lot of them. But recently, a friend suggested that adding lime juice to food not only adds flavour but also helps beat the excess salt in it.

Adding potato to the dish too can help. Potato pieces absorb the excess salt and improve the taste.

Give it a try...
